Levitt Bernstein are winners of many design awards, acknowledged leaders in the fields of urban renewal, housing and buildings for the arts, and experienced in many other sectors.
We operate from our own purpose-designed open-plan studios in North London which were built in 1992 and extended in 2005, winning the Small Office of the Year award in 1993.
In addition to our core architectural and interior design work, two special divisions, LB Landscape Architecture and LB Urban Renewal undertake both in-house and independent commissions. LB Urban Renewal specialises in master-planning and urban regeneration, drawing together a wide variety of expertise to form a multi-disciplinary approach to complex inner-city and neighbourhood problems. Our long-term commitment and skills were rewarded with the accolade of Regeneration Architects of the Year in 2004.
Originally established in 1968 by David Levitt and David Bernstein, and incorporated as a limited company in 1986, the practice retains their commitment to the improvement of peoples' lives through the application of high quality, sensitive and appropriate design solutions. We are now about 90 people-strong and undertake commissions from £0.5m to over £100m.
